Milad Day celebrations in Pakistan

 

The day of birth anniversary (Eid Milad-un-Nabi) of Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) with religious zeal and fervour on Rabi-ul- Awwal 12 has been celebrated by Muslim community through out the country. Peoples including women and children have purchased banners, badges, stickers and flags inscribed with the slogans paying respect and reverence to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) from stalls set up at different areas here. Mosques, homes, buildings and plazashave been beautifully decorated with colourful lights and buntings for the event. Rallies and procession has been hold by different organizations to express devotion to the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him). Streets, localities and houses has been decorated in to mark the festivities in connection with the Eid Milad. Banners and billboards are displayed at different entrance points of streets and main roads across the country while mosques, homes and plazas are decorated with colourful lights and buntings. A Number of Naat Khawani and Mehfil Milad programmes has been organized by different organizations to mark the Milad un Nabi day. Newspapers and magazines have published special supplements, while television channels and radio stations have broadcast special programmes in connection with the Milad un Nabi..
