Man overturns empty bus in Jerusalem

shot dead a man in occupied east Jerusalem after he drove an excavator into a bus, turning it over. The excavator crashed into an empty bus that hit another vehicle, and a policeman opened fire, killing the driver, according to an Israeli police spokeswoman who called the dead man a “terrorist.” Mayor Nir Barkat praised the police officer’s “resourcefulness.” One Israeli who was run over by the tractor before it rammed the bus was also killed, Israeli media reported. But it was unclear if the tractor driver intentionally ran him over, or if he died using himself as a human shield to protect the bus. Israeli media identified the tractor driver as Mohammed Naif Ja’abis. (AFP, Al-Akhbar) http://english.al-akhbar.com/content/terrorist%E2%80%9D-overturns-empty-bus-jerusalem.
