Encouraging reply by Taliban to govt points


Government and the Taliban committees for peace talks met here in Islamabad. The both sides discussed about the peace talks. It was told that the Taliban are willing to hold negotiations with open mind. According to the government statement, the Taliban Shura has given a positive and encouraging reply to the points put forward by the government’s committee. The government is satisfied by the Taliban’s committee report. The future road map would be finalized after consultations over all the relevant issues and recommendations in the next meeting, the statement added. Maulana Samiul Haq, Professor Ibrahim and Coordinatio Yousuf Shah from Taliban committee, while Irfan Siddiqui, Major (retd) Amir and Rustam Shah Mohmand from the government’s committee were present in the meeting..
